Hi everyone! So fine, we went ahead and did it. We have a "podcast" now. It's really just to give an added dimension to your reading experience. We read about these people all the time. Most of the time we have never seen them or talked to them in person. Let's try to showcase the next best thing and pick the minds of these running heavyweights.

For the very first edition of "The Gingerbreadcast", (Yeah, creative. Name of the year candidate right there. I know. Email me your bright ideas) we have Second Wind proprietor/ultramarathoner/walking running encylopedia /nice guy Hector Yuzon join us for a quick chat. The very first time I had met him was when I had done my gait analysis. I was truly impressed with the wealth and breadth of his running insights, as well as the looming principles that served as the backbone of his commitment to give back to the sport that he loves. We've had the Gingerbreadcast in years past, but I've decided to ramp up our content by now offering a full videocast for all of you. I'm planning to make this into a regular thing, and it seems to be a good communication tool. Take note, I am in no way a videographer or an Imovie guy, I had to run through the tutorial of Windows Movie Maker at least twice to make a rudimentary edit. :P

Ado seems to be having fun wth his dayjob

Anyway, our first subject is Bikezilla Store Manager Ado De Leon, who's also a professional downhill racer. It's somewhat of a quick Bike 101 for those planning to get one in the future. Bikezilla is located in Ortigas right next to Oakwood, and they helped set my bike in good order for both my Tour of Matabungkay and Powerman Malaysia campaigns among others. So enjoy, I'll try to improve on this as we go along.

p.s. You will never see me in the video because, uh, I'm the guy holding the camera :P :P

After missing out on several months, we actually have two "podcasts" in a row. Nope, I'm not losing my writing mojo; with a new term coming up and with the Ad Congress taking up most of my week, I hope you can bear with hearing my screechy voice for the meantime. Our guest for this edition is Edward Kho (no relation to you-know-who), the race director for the highly anticipated Conquer Corregidor 10 miler race.
