It’s such a joy to take off from work early, and head out the door into the late afternoon to catch the light with your camera.
And it’s so worth the effort to get out there and see the sun shining low down in the sky. Catching the light as it glimmers through the fading petals, dancing among the leaves, sunlit and golden. Bouncing off of the water, onto the ducks feathers, and skipping across the puddles left from too much rain. These days are a gift, left over from summer. A gift given to sustain us through winter’s grey days, and dark nights. Take the time to get outside when you can, and when you can’t really make the time, do it anyways. After all, catching the light won’t always be a option.
