Hi Spring, as you know, my name is Jane, and I am so glad that you decided to return and finish your performance review with Gardening Inc. These are not matters that should be left uncompleted, and we need to delve into this a little further. I gather that Mother Nature has spoken to you? Yes I saw the thunder, and the lightning bolts. It was rather a stern talking to then was it? Well that was in the past, things have changed dramatically since our last conversation. You do remember that you flounced out of here, vowing never to return. We here at Gardening Inc. are very appreciative of the fact that you changed your mind. Lets be very clear, there are many areas that could use some improvement, but overall we are happier with your performance. I would like to commend you on the effort you are putting into turning around your behaviour. We have had many pleasant comments regarding the sincerity you have shown lately. Yes the weather has improved, it still fluctuates dramatically, but it is definitely warmer. And everyone appreciates that you have included sunshine when possible.
We would like to offer a little incentive for all your hard work, and effort, with a small gift. If you fulfill your contract requirements then I can see starting around June, granting you some extra vacation time, take a chance to relax, get in some sun, kick back a little. Spring, you have done a good job so far, keep it up, and we will talk in late May. Who knows maybe you will be able to enjoy a extended vacation.
