This gardener’s heart yearns for spring, for bulbs, for green tips on brown branches, for growth to start. Instead this gardener’s heart sees snow, and ice cold.but knows it shouldn’t complain because so many others are waiting for spring also. This gardener’s heart is thinking of blues, greens, pinks yellows, petals, and fronds… Wishing, hoping, dreaming of the day when spring returns and replaces the ice and white with green, and fresh.
For now this gardener’s heart must lay dormant… soon it will stir, and start to stretch towards the light again.
Until then this gardener’s heart will learn to be content with what it has, and bide it’s time.
