It’s asparagus time, and this is our very first year of being here when they start picking at my Sister’s farm in Armstrong. You can read her blog here, Okanagan Asparagus Farm. Delicate green spears pushing through what was frozen earth just a few weeks ago, give way to strong verdant towers of tender, delicious asparagus.
We picked some up today, and I used it in a photo shoot for her blog, and for their advertising program, and then… well someone had to taste test it didn’t they?
Oh my, any way you make it, farm fresh, is the absolute best.
If you can find some locally grown near where you live, make sure to pick some up, it it so much better then anything you will buy in the store.
