Frosted neutrals

It’s all the rage, and showing signs of being a popular palette around here.
Landscapes turned into lovely muted colors, almost before our eyes.

Frosted leaf

Second earliest ice wine harvest on record.
Lake waters clouding over with cold.

Frosted fence posts and field

Frosted fields, leaves falling like icicles from the grasp of frozen branches.
October’s dampness has fled from November’s invasion of ice heaves.
Fence posts are painted with white, barbed wires stretched thin with frost.
Nature has tried on some new Autumn clothing and she really likes the designer.
So what are we to say?
Take it off, it doesn’t suit you?
We don’t like it.
Not us, and what choice do we have?
Our frosted neutrals will soon be replaced by Winter’s white.
There is only so much room in her closet.

#Find Joy in the Ordinary
Do you see the world around you with different eyes, whether or not photography is your thing?
Does your heart find ordinary objects to be beautiful. Despite their very ordinariness?
Do words thrill you, caress your soul?
And most of all does the thought of the upcoming winter make you want to do something about it?
Interested?
See you on Monday then. Jane
