Guess what I did yesterday? Spent the day painting my studio, goodbye cold periwinkle walls, and hello warm creamy dreamy walls. I plan on accenting with turquoise, and chocolate brown accessories, black frames with cream mats… Right now it’s a mess. Until it’s ready to show you here are 10 easy steps so you too can paint like a blogger.
How a blogger paints a room: 1. Start by blogging about it forever, tell everyone that you are going to paint a room… don’t start yet, just blog about it until they are tired of hearing about it. 2. Eat chocolate, you will need to keep up your energy for all of the hard work blogging. 3. Go to paint store, come back with handfuls of paint chips. Blog about it, spend lots of time taking artistic photos of paint chips. 4. Eat chocolate, you will need the energy. Remember to blog about painting your room. 5. Pluck a handful of paint chips off of walls, you will remember which one looked the best when you get to the paint store. 6. Eat chocolate, it helps your memory.
7. Start the painting process by spreading the word via email, and twitter, throw in a little Face Book too. 8. Open can of paint, be sure to eat lots of chocolate, this is much harder then blogging. 9. Make sure to take lots of blogging breaks, and update the process via emails, and twitter. 10. Clean up and take a good look at your walls, eat chocolate.
After the paint dries, I hope to have it all organized and share it with you, until then I am off taking artistic photos of the remaining paint chips. Next on my list is the flesh eating pink bathroom.
